Zylopred Ophthalmic Suspension 5 ml is used to treat bacterial infections, including conjunctivitis/pink eye. It also decreases the risk of eye infections such as conjunctivitis (inflammation of the conjunctiva) and other eye inflammatory conditions (cornea, iris, and connective tissue) in postoperative patients. It contains Gatifloxacin and Loteprednol, which kills bacteria and also reduces symptoms associated with infection, such as redness and irritation of the eye, and decreases the risk of infections. It may cause side effects such as watery eyes, irritation in the eyes, and eye itching. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.
