Xyzal Syrup is used to treat various kinds of allergies in children. It contains levocetirizine, a non-drowsy antihistamine. Levocetirizine blocks the effects of a chemical messenger known as histamine, which is naturally involved in allergic reactions. Sometimes, Xyzal Syrup may cause side effects such as vomiting, nausea, diarrhoea, weakness or itching. Before using this medicine, tell your doctor if your child or caregiver is allergic to any of its ingredients, has any existing medical conditions, or is taking other medications.
