Tossex 12 Orange Flavour Suspension is used to treat dry cough. It contains Dextromethorphan, which works by blocking the cough receptor present in the brain, that is known to cause cough. It is generally prescribed for short-term treatment of dry cough. It does not treat chronic cough or cough caused due to smoking, emphysema, and asthma. It may cause common side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, sleepiness, confusion, and nausea. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions
