Telpres-MT 50 Tablet is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). It may also be used to lower the risk of heart attack and stroke in future. It contains Telmisartan and Metoprolol, which relaxes the blood vessels and allows the blood to flow more smoothly. Thus, it lowers the blood pressure. In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects such as headache, nausea, dizziness, weakness, stomach pain, and slow heart rate. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.
