Telpres H 40 Tablet is used for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure). It contains Telmisartan and Hydrochlorothiazide, which helps to relax and widen the blood vessels (arteries). Also, it prevents absorption of excess salt in the body, preventing fluid retention. Thus, it lowers blood pressure and prevents the risk of stroke, heart attack and oedema (fluid retention). In some cases, you may experience side effects such as dizziness, feeling tired, nausea, diarrhoea, back pain, and cold/flu symptoms. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.
