Sumo Tablet is used to relieve pain in conditions like osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and dysmenorrhea. Besides this, it is also useful for dental pain, muscle pain, back pain, ear pain, and throat pain. It contains Nimesulide and Paracetamol, which works by blocking the effect of prostaglandins, a chemical responsible for inducing pain and inflammation in the body. It also lowers the elevated body temperature by promoting heat loss (through sweating), which helps reset the hypothalamic thermostat. Thus, it helps relieve pain. It may cause common side effects such as loss of appetite (in case of liver condition), nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, persistent tiredness or dark/discoloured urine.
