Ranidom-O SF Orange Flavour Suspension is used to treat acidity, heartburn, gas, and stomach ulcers. It works by neutralising excess stomach acid. It decreases gas bubbles surface tension, thereby facilitating gas expulsion through flatus or belching (burping). It also prevents the accumulation and formation of gas in the digestive tract. Also, it exerts a numbing effect, thereby provides relief from pain due to ulcers or acidic injury in the stomach. In some cases, it may cause common side effects such as constipation, diarrhoea, and intestinal pain. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.
