PPG Met 0.3 Tablet is used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus. It contains Voglibose and Metformin, which acts by inhibiting the intestinal enzymes, which break complex sugars into simple sugars such as glucose. This process prevents the rise of blood glucose levels. Also, it exhibits non-pancreatic effect to reduce serum glucose levels without increasing insulin secretion. It may cause common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, changes in taste, diarrhoea, dizziness, stomach pain, shortness of breath, skin rash, bloating, and flatulence (intestinal wind/gas). Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.
