Palocap Capsule is used to relieve signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis of the hip and knee. It contains Polmacoxib, which works by inhibiting the cyclo-oxygenase-2 (COX-2) enzyme in the body that is involved in producing certain chemical substances called prostaglandins that cause pain and swelling. Thus, it helps in relieving pain and swelling. In some cases, this medicine may cause side effects such as nausea, vomiting, heartburn, dizziness, stomach pain, gas, constipation or diarrhoea.
