Pacitane Tablet is used as an adjunct to treat Parkinson's disease and extrapyramidal symptoms (drug-induced movement disorders). It contains Trihexyphenidyl, which works by relaxing the muscles and nerve impulses that control muscle functioning. Besides this, it also balances chemical messengers called neurotransmitters in the brain; thereby improving muscle control and reducing stiffness. In some cases, you may experience common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, dizziness, constipation, weakness, headache, dry mouth, decreased urination, drowsiness, and feeling nervous or restless. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions
