Novomix 50 Flexpen 100IU/ml Suspension for Injection 3 ml is used to treat diabetes mellitus in children (above 2 years of age) and adults. It maintains blood sugar levels in adults and children. It ensures rapid and stable sugar control by facilitating the reuptake of sugar in muscle and fat cells, while also decreasing sugar production in the liver. It may cause side effects such as weight gain, injection site allergic reaction, rash, lipodystrophy (skin thickening or pits at the injection site), hypoglycaemia (low blood glucose level), and itching.
