Macbery Junior Expectorant is used to treat cough associated with mucus. It works by relaxing muscles and widening the airways of the lungs. It thins and loosens phlegm (mucus) in the lungs, windpipe, and nose. Thereby, helping to cough out easily. It works by increasing the volume of fluid in the airways, reducing the stickiness of mucus, and helping to remove it from the airways. Some people may experience nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, headache, dizziness, skin rash, tremor, stomach upset and diarrhoea. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.
