Levomac 500 Tablet is used to treat variety of bacterial infections, most importantly acute pneumonia (lung infection), bronchitis (Inflammation of lung passages), skin infections, as well as urinary tract infections. It stops the process of multiplication of bacteria and hence kills bacteria. It may cause common side effects like nausea, vomiting, indigestion, diarrhoea, constipation, trouble sleeping, and allergy. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions
