Histafree-120 Tablet is used to treat various kinds of allergies. It contains Fexofenadine, which blocks the effects of a chemical messenger known as histamine, that is naturally involved in allergic reactions. It is widely used to treat hay fever (an allergy caused by pollen or dust), conjunctivitis (red, itchy eye), eczema (dermatitis), hives (red, raised patches or dots), reactions to insect bites and stings and some food allergies. In some cases, you may experience headaches, nausea, or dizziness. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions. Do not take this medicine with dairy products as it may lower its efficacy.
