Dipsalic F Ointment is used to treat eczema and psoriasis. It contains Clobetasol and Salicylic acid, which work by blocking the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that are responsible for making the skin red, swollen, and itchy. Also, it breaks down the clumps of keratin, removes dead skin cells, and helps in softening of the skin. Some may experience side effects such as peeling of the skin, thinning of the skin, burning, itching, irritation, and redness at the application site.
