This medicine contains clindamycin, which works by inhibiting the protein synthesis of the bacterial cell and thereby helps fight infection-causing bacteria. This medicine is not effective for treating viral infections. Common side effects include stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, heartburn, and skin rash.
