Cremalax Tablet is used to treat constipation associated with piles, anal fissures, hernia, cardiovascular disorders, endoscopy, bowel clearance before radioscopy, pre/post-operative conditions, elderly and bed-ridden patients. It contains Sodium Picosulfate, which prevents the absorption of water in the colon and intestine, thereby stimulating propulsive (pushing forward) activity. This, in turn, promotes the accumulation of water, allowing stool to pass with ease. Thus, it relieves constipation. In some cases, it may cause common side effects such as diarrhoea, abdominal discomfort, pain, or cramps. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.
