Cepodem 200 Tablet is an antibiotic medicine used to treat bacterial infections ear, nose, throat, lower respiratory tract, urinary tract, skin, and soft tissue. This medicine contains cefixime and lactic acid bacillus (probiotic) which works by inhibiting the protein synthesis of the bacterial cell and thereby helps fight infection-causing bacteria. This medicine is not effective for treating viral infections. Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, indigestion, abdominal pain, and headache.
