Amlokind-L Tablet is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). It contains Losartan and Amlodipine, which lowers the blood pressure and increases the blood flow by preventing the narrowing of blood vessels. It dilates (widens) blood vessels and increases blood flow. In some cases, it may cause side effects like sleepiness, taste changes, ankle swelling, headache, flushing (feeling warmth in the face, ears, neck and trunk), dizziness, tiredness, palpitations (irregular heartbeat), upset stomach, and hyperkalaemia (increased potassium levels in the blood). Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.
