Amlokind H Tablet is used for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure). It contains Amlodipine and Hydrochlorothiazide, which work by relaxing and widening the blood vessels. Also, it helps to remove extra water and certain electrolytes from the body through urine. Thus, it lowers high blood pressure and reduces the chances of future heart attack and stroke. It may cause side effects such as glucose intolerance (low or high level of glucose), ankle swelling, sleepiness, headache, (sense of heat in the face, ears, neck, and trunk), flushing, tiredness, nausea, decreased potassium level in the blood, increased blood uric acid, and altered blood lipid level. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions
